'Rocking up' in terms of ambulation, was last popular in Australia in around 1985. When my mother started saying, "So I rocked up to choir practice and saw Dulcie doing..." a year later, I knew it was over.

I'll keep my ears open next time I speak to Mum (probably this Sun, as it's Mothers' Day) to see if she's 'rocking a new set of hush puppies' or the like.
